The weather in Calpe

The weather in Calpe can be summarised as soft temperatures and lots of sunshine. It is a town located on the Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante, which has a Mediterranean weather, a pleasant and constant climate.

In summer, average temperatures range from 29º Celsius maximum to 20º Celsius minimum, occasionally exceeding 30º Celsius. In winter, the climate in Calpe is mild and the average temperature ranges from 18º Celsius maximum to 10º Celsius minimum, rarely dropping below 7 or 8 degrees Celsius. The rainiest months are in autumn, although Calpe has more than 300 days of sunshine a year.

These weather conditions bring other advantages apart from ensuring favourable weather for your holidays, as the sea water reaches temperatures of 26ºC in the month of August, which means that the bathing season lasts from May to the end of October.
